I am a political economist at Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV), where I have taught since 2022. I specialize in development, corruption, and Vietnam. My research examines how political institutions and incentives shape governance, corruption, and economic behavior, with a particular focus on the private sector and local governments.

My work combines quantitative observational methods, field experiments, and survey data, and spans both academic and applied policy research. Since 2017, I have been a co-author of the Vietnam Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) report, a long-running initiative that measures the quality of economic governance and the business environment across Vietnam’s provinces.

I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Research Fellow, working with the Anti-Corruption Research Centre at Dublin City University (DCU) on a two-year project examining the effects of Vietnam’s administrative reforms.
